So I just switched over to a 1g TB and im kind of confused on the throttle stop issue. I know that the 2g have nothing to connect to it. My question is do i need it from reading this in RREs# Eclipse 2G Turbo 1G Throttle Body Swap they say not to use it; Ive also seen on talk that people said not to use it or Either use a bolt of appropriate size and thread pitch to replace it if you don't have one. I really do not feel like buying something for 120 dollars if i do not need it. So if anybody's got any insight on this that would be great.

The piece itself still needs to be in the throttle body to act as a throttle stop, however you won't hook any electrical connection up to it (the idle switch is built into the 2g TPS). If you don't have the throttle stop in, the plate will definitely stick and cause you issues.

If you can find a bolt of that same thread pitch, please let me know. It seems to be a proprietary/extremely unique pitch, so I'd just use the throttle stop that came with it. I personally removed the male electrical connection on mine to make it a bit cleaner.

I can probably get them if you need. Also what about a 90 tb? The tps is different so how do you make that work?

I can too if I really needed them. McMaster delivers next day to me :)

I honestly don't know much about the '90 other than I try to convince people to move away from them as they're such a hassle.
