1G TB on a 2G Question.

Hello All,

I'm looking for feedback and information from those who have put a 92-94 TSi Throttle body and Intake manifold on their 2G. What exactly is involved? Is this upgrade simply a bolt on or are there minor modifications necessary? Thanks in advance!!

you can't just bolt up a 1G intake manifold to a 2G head because the port size is different and they won't match up. many people (including myself) just put a 1G throttle body on and port out the intake manifold inlet to match.

Yea, just stick with the 1g TB upgrade. Its cheap, easy, and provides good gains. Follow the link that Mark posted and you should be fine.
