Ok ..

Well heres the deal. Right now installed in the car is an S-AFCI . A friend sold me a brand new S-AFC II for my 1g for less than i bought my SAFCI for. Heres my question.

Since the AFC has a two peice wiring harness .. the bottom half is the part you solder in with the ecu ect and the top part goes to the afc as we all know .. NOW can i unplug the top part of the SAFCI and plug my SAFCII right into it? or will i need to remove the SAFCI completely and re-solder in the SAFCII harness back in to where the other one was?

I was just curious cause i obviously would rather just leave the old harness installed and just switch out the AFC's but i know there are some different features on the newer afc and i wasnt sure if it would work

PLEASE HELP ME OUT ASAP!!! i sold my SAFCI and i need to know if i should unhook everything and send the guy all of the old stuff or if i can send him the back half of the SAFCII connector (the part you splice) along with my SAFCI screen and just connect the SAFCII screen directly to the harness thats attached to my car and retune it

THANKS GUYS!!!

The AFC 2 has one additional wire for the knock sensor, which doesn't do anything anyway. The plugs are the same besides that one wire, so you should be fine.

Ok ive heard of the extra knock sensor wire .. will that make the SAFCI still work right?

Anyone know for sure?! please i need some help!!
