Ok heres the deal my car has white smoke that comes out of the exaust and when I rev it up it has alot of condensation that comes out I have a straight through 3in exhaust, WHen I did compression check it was from 156 to 161 through all 4,I have a brand new evo 3 16g with less than 10 miles on it because the boost creep is too bad, so I never drive the car but when I went out a little while ago and changed the antifreeze I let it run and got the smoke. Does any one have any ideas. THANKS:talon:

White smoke usually means coolant is leaking into the cylinders. When you did the compression check, did it hold the pressure for a while? Or did it leak some?

If that is the case how can I fix it? Will it hurt the car? When I did the compression check it held pressure.

it smokes all the time very minamal at idle but when I rev it up it gets worse, and shoots out condisation, when i checked it it was just water but im not sure because it just started doing this and the car has been in the same spot of my garage for 1month.

Sounds like you may have a bad head gasket. It's no big deal; you can pick a new one up for anywhere between $30.00 and $90.00 depending on the source and the quality. Removing the head can be a pain when you have to do it alot, but it isn't difficult. You can have you're car up and running again in a few hours.

When I order a headgasket what bore do I get it for when you order from extreme psi they give you different bores. Is there a way to chek if its the head gasket for sure.

You could also try the thermostat test. When the car is cold take off the cover for the thermostat and turn the car on. If bubbles start coming up to the surface then there is a leak in the HG.
BTW, are you trying to buy the 4 layer or the felt?
85mm is your stock bore, but if it has been modded it might be larger so you would have to mesure.

Not to mention, have you checked your coolant? Is there oil in it?

THe smoke is constant from what I can tell, I let it run for about 15 min and it smoked the whole time Im not sure about how long it will stay or if it goes away because I never drive it, also the coolant is clean and there is no water under my oil cap

Sounds like your headgasket. There isnt anything that ive thought of besides coolant that would cause the condensation and white smoke.

you can also check if its a something like a sweet smell coming from the exhaust if the smoke is not too bad it my be just condense

What does your coolent look like? Does it look milky or does it look normal? Milky color will indicate a leak. I had white smoke coming from my exhaust also. It was a head gasket. My compression test indicated that. I pulled the head and the gasket was bad. I also had a bad piston. My compression was low in cylinder 2 and 3.

It may be your valve stem seals.
