Not too long ago, I ordered some rods that turned out to be for the wrong car (7 bolt). Right now, I just need to know what to do to store eagle rods until they are sold. They will probably sit around doing nothing for a while. Thanks.

BTW, I did a search and came up with nothing.

Make sure they have an oily coating and keep them in a dry place up off of any cement. Inside is good to be safe.

Cool, thanks guys. I have one of those silicona packets that keep the box dry. Unfortunately, it is somewhat hard to keep the box completely dry mainly because I live less than a mile from the ocean. Do you think it would be a good idea to keep the whole box in a large plastic bag? Thanks. The last thing I want to happen is to have $300 worth of metal corrode away.

Coat them with cosmoline, and make sure they're stored vertically so they don't try to conform to the curvature of the earth from the forces of gravity. Although the earthquakes are bound to make them take on a zig-zag shape anyway. Might as well just throw them away, really.
