Quarter Panel Compatibility

Alright, I've just recently bought a pretty poorly maintained eclipse. It's a spyder and i got it for less than 500 so I'm not too mad. It's in the process of being a project car. I started to work on the front left quarter panel which is pretty badly damaged so I'm getting it replaced. I asked a nearby salvage yard if they had any parts. They said they had parts for a coupe, but not a convertible. They're the same GS trim color and year. Same make and model. Just different body style.

My underlying question is, are 97 eclipse coupe quarter panels basically the same convertibles?

Front left quarter panel? You mean the fender? If so yes the fenders are the same.

Yea the fenders are all interchangeable. Just reuse your end caps if possible and call it good.
