Im thinking about getting a Quaife for my laser but have a few questions first. Right now I have a 92 tranny with the "small" axles and the equal length mod done, ie same axles and diff as an awd. When I buy my Quaife should I get the "big" axle quaife for the 93-99 and go back to the unequal length driveshafts.

Get the gig axle quaife and get the stub shaft (driver's side axle) from a 93 or 94 AWD. Best of both!

Only FWD cars had the bigger axles. I would stick with the smaller AWD axles and keep the intermediate shaft thats what i did.

i have quaife but in my stock 90 fwd trans. The quaife i bought from extremepsi. It was the awd part #. I know in order to put the diff in, you have too use sealed bearings rather than tapered bearing and also u have change your axle seals , i think, it's been a while. i don't think you can use the bigger fwd axle that came in the 92 trans, but i'm not exactly sure. I was DogBoxRacing first customer to get this done, i think when they did it to my trans. I also had to do alot of searching b4 i got it done. I also have ended up putting equal length halfshafts later.
