how much is a quaife lsd...are there any cheaper comparable models...and also i got my 3.55 final drive neon gearing!!!!!!!!

Wow, I'm not one to call someone out, but you really need to search. Try searching before you start a new thread. From what you wrote in your thread I would definitly have to say that you havent even looked. Were here to help, not spoon fed you every answer you are looking for.

Also, KarKing doesn't make LSD's for the NV-T350, only for their 4G63 counterparts.

I've heard nothing bad (but nothing necessarily good) about the AMC LSD. OBX, as always, requires modifications to strengthen its inherent flaws.

well, for those who ASSUME...i did search, however all the sites i found didnt give me the info i needed. i asked for a price, possibly better than i could find. if i had found the info i needed i wouldnt be here...i most likely know more about fixing things than most...im just no dsm expert...so before you come into the thread and throw salt, try asking if i looked elsewhere...because now you just look silly

In all fairness, the MSRP of a Quaife is almost common knowledge: $1250, give or take a few dollars depending on the vendor. Here is one thread I saw a little while back that sells them for much less. I've never heard of anyone buying from this company before, though.

Thankyou for your positive feedback, like i sadi im no expert on dsm's, i've been in this "world" for only about 5 months so i am indeed a dsm newb...however i am not stupid, i just wanted a better price...to maybe find something i missed...thnks for the site...if i can save 250 that means alot...good looks on the info

i found a kaaz on ebay for like 850 and the obx for like 450...now ppl say they need to be modified, i cant find the thread that has that stuff in it...what needs to be welded?

For the OBX, replace belleville springs, and chamfer the side gears. (or bevel the axle's circlip, or leave out completely) Replacing the bolts is likely a good idea as well.

Try buying one directly from the manufacturer. The price discrepancy is a result of retailer's markup, etc..

Well I'm a wholesale parts manager so I know how the retail vs wholesale thing goes.

I have a AMC LSD. The only downfall to this LSD is the poor machining for the c clips on the axles. You must bevel the c clips on the axles before you install them or you will have a hell of a time getting them out. Otherwise it has been very good to me.... I will be putting some real power thru it within the next month or so.

i've been looking into the kaaz lsd, and there doesnt seem to be anthing wrong with it. It looks pretty solid and from what i can find on power ratings it should be good for 600wheel. I dont know if theres any problems drivability wise though

I'm not sure where you're looking but I can't find anything that says Kaaz currently makes, or has ever made, an LSD for our application.

Phantom grip is known to work well enough, at the expense of eating up your differential over time.
