ok i finally got my pipes in for my fmic and after a huge boostleak i'm finished. now after the install is the turbo whine (tone) suppose to change?

It may sound a little different from what it used to since the piping and routing are very different now. I don't know if you've done a boost leak test to find all the leaks and to see if it holds pressure but a small leak could also sound kind of like a turbo whine.

Boost leak test is always a must imo when ever work is performed which involves the intake track. I'm talking about before the test drive, not after. Doing WOT with boost leak can cause serious damage to your car.
