Ok iv got the intake and cam gear with the pins up and the 2 notches looking at each other. The oil pump is pointed at the pointer and the crank is dead on TDC. I even put the cover back on to make sure the crank pully was pointing and it was on perfect. Now the ? is when i try to manualy turn the motor over it hits a point that it feels like it wont go im affraid that the valve is mabey hitting the piston?

Are u turning it with ratchet? Are you turning it clockwise? Are you sure you have the crank on the right "mark". Do you have the spark plugs in making it difficult to turn over? It should turn over if all marks are lined up not say the oil pump is out *180 from the balance shafts. You can check that with the plug on the back of block under the knock sensor. Sam

plugs are out and yes im using a rachet and yes clockwise. The plate behind the crank gear has a tooth and it is lined up with the notch above it and the 1 piston is up now for the oil i just spun it till it was lined up didnt know it had to be in a certain position other than the pointer lined up. I never took the pullyes off if that makes any difference.

Did you take out the balance shaft plug bolt on the rear of the block and put a screwdriver in to time the oil pump right? If so, don't forget to take that out. That will cause it to not turn.
