I was just curious, I've had knock issues ever since I installed my cams & I did swap to ARP headstuds at the same time without removing the head. The other day a buddy was behind me & said when I went WOT he saw white smoke. So I started to wonder if my head gasket isn't sealed properly & is pushing some coolent under a certain amount of boost. I was just wondering if this is what is actually happening could that be a source of knock?
I haven't done a compression test but will in the near future but I haven't noticed any other clues such as oil in the antifreeze. Also wanted to verify the head gasket would be the only source if I am burning some antifreeze?

But yeah were currently only about 70 deg. Before the fmic I use to run 196 all the time on cruise in the hot summer. Coolent is a 50/50 mix of water & anitfreeze with the royal purple water wetter. I thought maybe the stock thermostate may be giving me an issue so I picked up another Mitsu one & still saw the exact same temps. My core is fairly large & I kept as much of the factory ducting as possible when I did the install but I haven't added additional ducting as of yet.
Oh I kid our friendly neighbors up north.
