1G Purple and Black color scheme- opinions?

Ok guys my car is soon to be up and running again. I however am one of those types who never stops wanting to do more and more to his car to make it more unique. So i was thinking that once i do a small bit of body work to get rid of the universal 1g rust in front of the rear tires, i repaint the whole car.

I love my vinyls and really don't want to lose them but the car's paint is starting to lose clear coat here and there so its gotta happen.

I was thinking of a metallic purple of some kind. My old Fox Body Mustang was purple and I loved it. Purple seems to be a rare color from the factory on any car so it really stood out. Plus although some may call purple a "girly" color, that made it great for getting chicks to hop in Besides Purple is technically a color of royalty and the DSM IS the King of the Road right? So let me know of any purple paint you like. Not midnight purple either i want an obnoxious purple one of those love it or hate it colors.

Then for the roof. I'm thinking leave it black... I like the look of the all black roof and pillars with my tinted windows ### it makes it so you can't tell where the pillar stops and the window starts.

Rims gotta be black too and i've been wanting some 17s anyways. What i really want is something 7 spoke like i have but wider. And on that note is it ok to put offset rims on one of these without much issue? I want like a 245 45 17 or so because the stock width 205s or whatever look like they belong on a cavalier basically i want the car to have that tires that stick out about an inch from the wheelwell look.

Im thinking crown royal colors... Black or gold rims and maybe a gold fmic . Post up some pics of this purple so we can get a better visual of it. Alot of guys on here are photoshop pros and can probably make a sample image for you.

This is what the purple looked like on my mustang. Wish i had a better pic but i don't because i lost a lot of them and don't have the car anymore. But ya if anyone could photoshop my car that color with the black top still and black rims that would be sweet. Oh ya and those flashlights on the spoiler... ya long story

and what about matte paint ive heard alot about it lately and i love the look of it its like metallic paint with no gloss to it.

To keep this semi on topic, my GF is going purple/black on her 98 black spyder. Excuse the messy engine bay, hard to keep it clean in the winter. This is just the start of what she has planned, she also has purple gauge cluster lights as well as a few other minor accents.

ya i'm thinking of a darker purple than the stang was, more like the matte purple on the lambo. so anyways i don't have photoshop on this computer could anyone do up my car like that lambo color with the top and wheels matte black? and ya my gf's dad is a paint and body man so i can get this all done for cost of supplies so the cost of the paint isn't a big deal since labor is usually what kills you on good paint jobs.

Haha i know right? I once had this kid call my purple mustang a barney car. So i told him to drive it and see and he's all like naw man i can't drive a stick. Im like wow u are patetic get in your isuzu rodeo and go home.

But i seriously want to do this paint job can anyone photoshop this up for me? (preferably start with a different pic of a 1g eclipse than mine, ### in my photo there is no spoiler on the car and it looks stupid)

That purple off the lambo is badass. Personally i like the color of my car. I want to get it redone since the clear coat is chipping and some d-bags keyed it. Purple is an awesome color you should do it.

I'm glad my thread is liked by a mod as im new here! one off subject note though. I see you have a shaved valve cover in that picture. my old seven bolt motor had one. would it fit on the new six bolt motor i have with no issue? I would just check myself but the shop where the car is is in another town and I've been stuck keeping in touch mostly through phone to relay instructions.

Also I still would like to see the photoshop of my car that lambo color matte purple with black top and rims. So if anyone is bored and could toss that together quick it would be appreciated.

That's what I am doing! All my TiAL items are purple, going with purple valve cover, and purple Evo Brembos.
