Hello I have a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.0l non turbo 420a and I have the check engine light on, and it gives me code P0443 ( evaporate emission system purge valve circuit ) were is my purge valve located at? Or how to clear the code

I don't have a NT but my 99 Factory Mitsu Service Manual shows the NT P0443 is the "Evap Solenoid Circuit". The "Evap Purge Solenoid" (on NT aka Duty-cycle Purge Solenoid Valve) is shown to be either under or around the RF headlight (that's all I can tell from the diagram). It's A-42 connector has 2 wires: black/white and light-green/black both going to the PCM.

The easiest way to access is to remove the front bumper assembly. First I would check the rubber vacuum line on top of the throttle body to make sure it isn't clogged or broken. There are also multiple other lines underneath the car that could clog or break and cause the code.
