Does anyone have scaling and latency values for pte 1200's? My scaling is set at 886 and my latencies are
3.57
3.33
1.71
1.14
0.99
0.525
0.315

I am having a low rpm misfire (1k-1500) when releasing the clutch and wide open throttle at 26psi it starts off going rich for a couple seconds then goes to 13:1. I feel like lowering the scaling anymore wont be right.

What wideband are you using? is it calibrated? are you sure that you dont have any vacuum leaks? are you running a mass air meter or speed density? your scaling shouldnt ever have to be that low, there is something else at play here I suspect.

i did some looking around and found another thread on tuners where someone with pte1200s were having the same misfire as me. The thread was never updated so i dont know if they fixed it or not, or what scaling theyre using.

I use Evoflash but I dont remember seeing anyplace to select Dsm or Evo scaling if thats what you meant, of course I dont use the most recent version either.

If you trying to tune new injectors and have your fuel map line up. Your fuel trims have to be within 5%. And for WOT you have to adjust your maf Comp so you're air flow calibrations are correct.

Maf comp Up for lean, down for rich. That's how you get it to match your fuel map. There are different techniques for injector scaling I like to go by trims personally.

you definitely need to increase your latency. I was using about plus 315 micro seconds for pte 1000cc and 886cc. latency does affect your wot AFR a point or 2 so increasing the latency should help richen up your wot.

your 1200cc will most likely need more latency but I'll tell you this, the closer you can get to the rated latency of the injector the better the car will run. so in other words if you need to take away fuel in the 25-100hz table in maf scaling so you can run a closer to rated latency it would be worth it :thumb:
