Hey guys, last summer I did the UDP mod and for 6 months had no problem with belt tension after working out the early squeaks and then I blew my head gasket. After the HG got fixed and got my car back it threw a PS belt. Back to mechanics because he said there was a problem with the accessory belt pullies washers or something, I forget. They ended up putting a new belt on but didn't have the new washers in so they ordered them. About a week later I threw one again. This time they put the new washers in and new belt in. Just yesterday going to school I threw the PS belt again. My mechanic says that the belt is tensioned but almost maxed out at the tensioner pulley and the next size down won't fit. He's using the same belt number that I used originally with the UDP install but I keep throwing belts. Do you guys know of a brand that makes the belt size for the 2G NT UDP mod but shorter than most or all the other brands? I know that there are variances in sizes of the "same" belt but don't know which one is smaller/larger than others. I just got my car back a few minutes ago but want to get atleast one belt that I know will fit in case it happens again. Thanks guys:)

Pulleys are on the right way, the problems started after the mechanic touched it replacing my blown HG.

Now I'm back to the stock pulley because my mom listened to my moron mechanic and went behind my back and changed it while it was in the shop having the PS unit bracket replaced. I'm so pissed and this thing is so damn slow without it.

well at least you can use that as a "test" see if it works or not.

Check your crank pulley to see if it's seperating.

Dido mine just did the same thing last wednesday, but my alternator and ac belt came off.My crank pulley seperated and lucky i was only about 15mph when it happened. The cost was $130 at the dealer for the crank pulley.
