i searched around a cant find the answer, i need to get this done tomorrow. I bought the prothane motor mount kit. I know the tranny mounts are different from auto to manual, but i have heard the rear one is different but i have also heard they are the same. Just wanted to check here, and make sure the rear insert will fit. remember i have an auto

anyone?

Yes, the rear motor mount will fit and work. You will want to put the inserts in the rear, not the front.

I have spoken with the guys from (oh god cant remember what shop now...its a dsm vendor) and asked them about it. One of the shop guys has a A/T as well and said to just put it in the rear, and not the front. He went thru this whole long talk of why its better ### of the torque and ect...

Or was it the front? Haha shoot cant remember now...been almost 5 months since ive seen my car.

The rear sounds right though...

Well im going to do front and rear, already have the prothane insert mounted in a new mount stuck in with window weld and ill just go the dealer and buy a new mount and check if it fits. If not, ill just fill it in with window weld. The front mount is completely shot so the front, so it sounds like it takes the most punishment.

So I'll zombie this thread.

What are the Auto guys throwing in their car motor mount wise & bushing wise? I have read that solid is the way to go for the driverside motor mount & the.... rear mount was the other to replace. Need confirmation, as I am trying to buy parts this weekend. Tired of wheel hop, & I nor my gf will mind the extra vibration :p

I searched & did not find much of anything. Worst part is, I know there are auto guys doing big things. Just need to know what is compatiable MT - AT wise with suspension. Extremepsi states a few of their things do not work with Auto's.

I know for a fact their their motor mount rubber inserts do not work in an Auto. As I have bought them & returned them.

Looking to replace sway bar end link bushings, some random blown bushings in the rear. Especially since I have a rear ball joint going.

Also need shocks/struts :hmm: this is a daily driver/street warrior. I do process serving :D KYBs I have heard dewwerk. What about paired with Tein springs? My profile is up to date. Lets help any auto guys out in the future as well, post useful info!! Let's get it poppin' in here:
