I just bought the Prothane bushing kit for the front control arm upper and lower. I was looking at the contents of the kit and saw only 2 bushings that would fit the lower lateral arms. The bushings that I bought new lateral arms for this and was wondering if only one bushing gets replaced on each arm?
So if one bushing get replaced on the lower. Which one is it--the inner or the outer?

You will only want to replace the inboard one. If you replace the one the dampner fork connects to(outboard) it will give you shock increased shock noise and wear. Leave it stock. You should have received bushing for both though. Atleast that is how mine came in my master kit.

This has good info on what is in the prothane kit and where they go:

I will for sure. I installed them today and everything went well. One thing I did notice was that my car sat up higher. I'm not sure if I was seeing things or not. Both rubber bushings that the strut fork attaches to were really sagging from wear.
My new lateral arms with the Prothanes pressed in. I like the OEM look the black Prothane's give off.

Sure, I always buy from the parts department at Quality Mitsubishi. They are great and they offer an RMDSM discount so things are like the same price as Mitsubishiparts.com. I ordered the bushings from JEGS and of course they were not instock. Summit didn't even stock these either, so plan ahead!
