Okay, every thing else aside, no matter if you have to carry a giant tank in the car, or if alky is more expensive, or if water alky is blue........

Which will make more power? I under stand that propane comes out at -60 degrees Fahrenheit and also has a 120 octane rating. One of my friends is using this setup on his Buick and he says he can run 25 lbs on a non intercooled, 9:1 motor, pump gas with lots of timing.

Ive read alot about alky, water and water/alky set ups and none seem to be nearly this efficient. I know there are a couple guys here running propane, I wonder if they might be kind enough to share their experiences.

i was told if the kit was made and set properly propane would be easier and cheaper. except for the pressurized tank that could explode like a nitrous tank.

Heh. Don't ever look into what's in your AC system. And whatever you do, don't consider the gas tank.

I don't know if propane compares much with water, whereas it seems water and alcohol are a more-similar comparison. One consideration is that water's free.

i guess water is free from where your from but i pay a monthly water bill. and only time water is free from where i'm from is if you use someone else's water from the tap or have your own personal well. i wouldn't consider water free but cheaper which is a consideration when talking about the price per fill up of water, rubbing alcohol, ethanol, nitrous etc..

if ur going to go water/alky way i would us distilled water not tap water will if u go this way its not going to be cheap

You can buy those big blue 18L jugs of distilled water for ~5 bucks

Not distilled water. I was pretty sure that tap was unrecommended

OK, so end your shower 10 seconds earlier to make up for it.

alcohol > water/alcohol > Propane

Propane works great for Nitrous which adds X amount of horsepower. Methanol injection works better for turbo cars where boost, power, and therefore octane requirement rises as RPM's rise.

What?

Sorry to bring back an OLD thread, but I figured I would bring this one back instead of starting a new one...anybody have any experience with nitrous and propane used together on a turbo dsm? I am looking to do something of the sort but wanted to hear from some people with some experience or some actual knowledge.

I have only water in my tank and I dont see any difference with and without spraying....I'm going to put some methanol tonight.... I hope it will do better....

Cool. Let us know how it feels. You aren't going to feel any difference though unless you do some tuning, but you probably already knew that.

The freaking Fuel store was closed, I couldnt get any Methanol... But i ran 12.71@110 without W/M injection... Weather was killing me here in arizona.... I swear it was 100deg at 2am....

You can try and find "Heet" (yellow bottle) in any walmart. It's a fuel stabliser. 99% Meth...

what about other 1%, is it ok for the engine....

Dang that sucks man. I am sure you can pull ALOT more out of it with the w/m injection. My kit should be here next week and give it a try in our 100 degree 99% humidity weather! According to Snow Performance you can run the blue windshield washer fluid all day long and be perfectly fine. It has like 1% dye in it but they tested it and it showed no ill effects whatsoever in the engine.

I guess i could do that...:thumb: ... Where is best place to look for it?

I know here if you go to one of the auto parts stores they can order some upon your request. Might take 2 days to get in, but thats not bad at all. I talked to a guy I know the other day and he said just let him know and he will order a case of it and just keep it behind the counter unless I want to buy the whole case :) This was at autozone.
