Hey guys.

So I recently picked up a 1g Talon that is tuned on a ProEFI ecu. But I was wanting to go out and datalog so I could look at some of the numbers for myself. The cable to be able to datalog costs $300+... No way I'm paying that just to datalog a few times.

So my question is, can I head over to the EvoScan website and buy their cable and datalogging software? Or would it not work since I'm on ProEFI?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question.

Thanks!

I'm zombie bumping this to get a proper answer to a question in case anyone searches this later. This is EXACTLY the kind of information you will never find again posting on facebook groups and is the reason it's a good idea to have forum membership with a group of like minded individuals.

The answer: ProEFI works off CANBUS. Unless it mimics the stock ecu's datalogging protocol and outputs it on the obd2 port pins, then no, using evoscan will not work. The logging available through the CANBUS on ProEFI is far superior in sampling rate to most other data logging solutions/aftermarket ecus offer.
