So today my cable arrived for evoscan and I plugged it into my 1g and it worked great. Im still figuring out the basics and all the gauges etc. but now I want to know if there is a way to log evoscan and have my JAW wideband as a WB input.

Has anyone been able to log with evoscan and the JAW wideband?
I really dont want to buy another wideband setup, especially since they are so expensive. there are several options to check in evoscan for what I want to log and one of them was an option to log the wideband input from the ECU, it said this input would come from an aftermarket external wideband that could be wired into the ECU and received by evoscan. I have not figured if that is possible yet.

Also on a more general note, I was wondering what I should be logging.
I have my boost set to 8.5psi with my ported 16g and Im concerned about knock and running lean under any higher boost so this is why i purchased the data logging software. What should I be looking at to make sure I am not harming my car. I have been told with my setup I should be able to run 15psi safely but again I wanted to "doublecheck" these claims.

Any advice or help would be much appreciated thanks!:thumb:

also I am getting some high knocksum values after my first couple of logs and I want to be sure I have everything setup correctly in the software.
Ill try to post my log to see what you guys think.

attached is the graph of a pull thru 2nd and then thru 3rd. Is that amount of knock normal? I think it is not.

Knock count is too high. Something is not right. What turbo and boost you running? What octane you running? What's your AFR at? Do you have an CELs? Your knock sensor might be picking up some other noise and triggering it. I think your timing should be a little more aggressive as well because you are a 1g. This might go hand and hand with your ecu sensing knock and pulling timing. Maybe, maybe not. Need details.

evo3 16g turbo
8.5psi spikes to 10 occassionally
92 octane
I dont think I have any CELs, no lights on the dash, how would I check for these?
AFR, i havent logged it as per the original post above but I have watched it realtime and it usually is around 11.5-12.5 WOT

What kind of cable did you buy to use Evoscan on your 1g DSM? And where from? Thanks in advance.
