i bought a 95' Eclipse GS about a month ago, an the previous owner told me that the IAC went bad, he bought a new one but it still needed to be tuned correctly so it idled really high so he unplugged it, that's fine i can deal with downshifting so the car won't stall but then i hoked up the car to the computer at work and i got a code 66 "No CCD messages from TCM" along with a 25 i think "IAC motor circuits" but that's only because the IAC is unplugged, my question is how can i check if my transmission control module (TCM) is still good and where can i find the production date of the car?? it was repainted so it dosen't have the VIN sticker on the door jam.

WTF?? i called mitsubishi and the told me the production date was 11/10/94 delivery date was 12/10/94 but the car is not a 1G it's a 2G body style engine and everything in the car says it's a 2G, i'm i missing something??
