problems with new motor

so i got the new engine and i was transfering all my stuff and i notice alot of differnces in the 2 motors

1. the 2 cam gears are wrong 1 is right but the other doesnt have the timing sheild

2.the slingers isnt there and i had to transfer it from other engine

3 the other oil slinger on the engine that is there the gear is sheared

That looks kinda crappy. Is this a new, rebuilt, or just a used engine? I thought they sell rebuilt/remanufactured. In which case it could be damage from shipping?

What kind of deal did you get from them? I think they advertise here.

Is it a 7 bolt? I know 6 bolt gears dont have that shield. Maybe sent you a 6 bolt

First off, answer whether it's a 6-bolt. Second, are you calling the balance shafts "slingers"??? If they're not there, that's good. I think Karking eliminates balance shafts. But hey, be glad you didn't end up like me and ordering a motor and having it arrive to find the balance shaft belt had snapped, caused the motor to jump timing and smashed all the intake valves. This was before I installed it by the way.

Like Keymaster points out, the first part is the oil pump gear and stub of what was the balance shaft. It's been cut down and the oil passage welded shut. You'll want to pull out the other balance shaft if you put it in the block and make sure you didn't remove the plug on the front cover.

You got the cam gears from a 1G. Again the other guys have pointed out that you should be checking to see if your putting in a 6 bolt engine. If you are you 'll have other issues to address like the mounts.

You still have a key question outstanding. Is the "new" motor a six bolt?
That makes a difference on how you proceed.

Ok, so what's the question? The balance shafts are already eliminated for you, which saves some work. And those cam gears will work just fine. What's the problem?
