When I do a 3rd gear pull @ 23 psi, the timing climbs all the way up to 23* sometimes making it to 24* with no knock at all. I already have my AFC - about 30 and still see no knock. The chip was correctly burnt for my 650's but it still seems way off. Am I just seeing this much timing because of my SAFC settings? Thanks in advance.

So wait are you using the MAFT RPM fine tuning mode too? Or just purely the AFC for fine tuning? I'm using just a MAFT and I get upwards to 20-21 degs timing @ the top of 3rd on 91 craptane. Remember that's only on the MAFT tuning no AFC used. But hell I'd lean out just a little more to see if it'll feel any better. Remember a little knock is okay let's say 7 counts or less so you don't pull timing. How are your EGT's?
