Well my problem is still here after I installed my Walbro 190 fuel pump. I have a 1990 Talon TSi AWD. Before it would only occur when I was on the highway for 20 or so minutes. But the car cuts out, feels like theres a rev limiter at 2-3k, the boost builds up as I push on the gas(if I floor it, I see ~12psi of boost), and I have to floor it for a few seconds before it will kick in and actually accerlerate like normal.

Now I got it into town while it was still doing this and it sounded like I was building boost when I pushed on the gas. The turbo would spool up and the bov would release a good amount of air, all this while going 10mph and no acceleration.

Next thing I am going to do is change my fuel filter, but if that doesnt work, what else could it be?

Well that seemed to solve the problem. Took a short 40mile trip to my dads house today. The Talon ran very smooth on the highway this time, probably the best that its ever ran in my possession. Noticed a difference around town as well. Every once in awhile I would get 2nd/3rd gear shutter at part throttle, now thats completely gone. The car just 100% smoother all around. For all of you that have some of these symptoms or any other symptom that you don't know the cause, check your ECU. Man, wish I would have caught this 2 months ago :|

Thanks for all your guys help! I really appreciate it.
