So returning the symptoms and there causes. I need to fix the problems so I can start tuning.

1. The white smoke cloud was mainly leaking oil seals in the turbo. A new turbo seal kit and things got much better. Still had a small amount of smoke though. Combustion gas test showed a healthy head gasket, and no exhaust in the coolant. Compression test reviled a terrible problem, cylinder 3 was dead. Piston rings were shot. A rebuild is in order.
2. 2-4 The oil leaks came from leaking gaskets. All the oil leaks will be solved with a rebuild.
5. Idle ran high when warm. Had a boost leak. A leaking stock BOV, imagine that. Chose a Synapse Synchronic BOV and plumed it for the most responsive configuration, recirculated of course. It sounds like it is sneezing when it blows. One guy described it as a pop can opening. It is a sweet little sound and growing on me but I still can’t wait to vent to atmosphere.
6. Power steering pump was leaking. The previous owner used a slotted lock washer as a gasket on the top bolt. I wish I could smack him.
7. Driver side door lock actuator is not working. This was a bad description of the problem which was it is hard as h*ll to turn the key. I got a junk yard actuator and still had the problem. I wasted $250 on a new actuator and still had the problem. I think I have a bad lock cylinder? Any ideas guys?
8. Rear brakes still suck I have not gotten to them. Meehh, they can’t be that important.

The rebuild Begins…
