I went to lowes today and got stuff to make my home made intake with. 2"3 coupler goes on the turbo(90 gsx...14b) that is connected to a short piece of 3" pvc pipe then a 3"X3" coupler is connected to my hacked airbox. Before my mbc was set to boost at 14 psi. Car ran great. I dont have my crankcase breather hooked up or the charcoal canister line. Also the BoV hose is off , but it has always ran out without that. My question is, i get done and take it for a ride and i only see MAYBE 5-7psi. I also experienced some blowby, my dipstick was out and oil was everywhere. What gives? Also what is a catch can? Thanks.

It sounds to me like there are some leaks in your intake, that would cause you to not be getting to the 14 psi you normally see.

im having an oppisite problem i hooked both of the lines that come off the stock intake into the PVC custom made and then made an attachment to hook up my blow off valve and now the car goes really high into boost and hits fuel cut i have a 16g so please help?

A catch can is some sort of can or filter inline with either your vc breather hose or pcv hose. It is designed to catch the oil (blowby) to avoid it from going into your intake or intake manifold. Definitley do a boost leak test. If your dipstick blows out then you have too much crankcase pressure. This is usually attributed to the vc breather not giving enough vaccum to the crankcase. Are you sure the line isnt clogged anywhere?

I dont have my crankcase breather hooked ... I also experienced some blowby, my dipstick was out and oil was everywhere. What gives?

Your first statement answers the second. You need the suction from the turbo compressor to help evacuate crankcase gases from your engine under boost, and a working PCV valve as well.

And you may want to search for "dipstick"... about 234623768324 threads on this subject. Here's one:

Also the BoV hose is off , but it has always ran out without that.

Lucky so far... depending on your setup, you are taking a chance of sucking unfiltered (and unmetered) air into your intake.

i only see MAYBE 5-7psi. Also what is a catch can? Thanks.

Read and study this:

Hook up your PCV system CORRECTLY, then do the boost leak test and start troubleshooting any remaining issues.
