I need help, I took out my top motors and test them
They spin but slowly, idk if its normal or need new motors
I can upload video if need it

Solution
Just to let everyone on here know, I finally got the broken pins out
It was a pain in the ass but know they are working fine
Now I only have to replace the soft top cause its leaking every where and replace the window switch and window regulator on the back
They are supposed to turn slowly. The motors are reduction gears, and the slow speed increases the torque available to lift/lower the top. This is why it takes 20+ seconds to run through the raising/lowering cycle. Higher torque is needed to operate the top, rather than speed. More speed, less torque.

Thanks for that info, so what do you guys think could be the cause of my top not going up or down

Look up the first post I made on this page. There's a link for common failures for our tops. Most likely the guide pins have sheared inside the gear setup. The link will demonstrate how to remove the broken pins and explain the process of putting in better parts. Arid this with mine, but haven't made the time to put the motors back into the car. Purhaps I'll do it this weekend before my new parts arrive. Let me know if I can help more.

So i Found that my Pins are broken inside the motors but I can't get them out
Any good ways to try?

Shit, I dont even remember the last time I used that electric switch to put my top down.. I push it to make all my windows go down then manually put the top down.. One of the ribs in the top separated so I have to manually keep it moving like it should so it doesnt bend anything.. Takes just as long if not faster than sitting on my lazy ass pushing that button.. Im most likely going to remove motors soon anyways.. Dem bitches be heavy! haha
