Problem starting car.

My buddies 92 awd TSI won't start. He told me that only two injectors are working and wanted me to post up here to see if anyone knows what might be the problem or where to start in looking to fix it.

How did you find out only two injectors are working?

Did you pull the fuel rail off (while everthing was still connected) and see which injectors sprayed?

Only two of them are clicking when he turns the key on and the check engine light blinks when he turns the key on.

Clicking when the key is in the "ON" position but engine not started, or with the engine cranking? From my experience so far, the pump/relay only works while cranking/started and the CEL stays on with the key on, engine off. You should check power/ground to those injectors while cranking. Get a ecu pinout and make sure the injector pins are pushed into the harness plug all the way, and not severed.
