Problem after rebuild

Hi, I just rebuilt my engine and everything is left stock. when I punch it out it goes pretty good until about 3200 rmp then it cuts out for a second and then pulls again till about 4000 rpm cuts out for a second and then keeps going till about 4300 rpm and cuts out for a second. It keeps cutting out but only for a second and then it pulls hard for about 500rpm or so and cuts out again. Could this be a boost leak, fuel cut or a bad ignition system? Thanks.
The car is a 1992 Talon Tsi, 5 spd, everything is stock.

i would check all the stuff you just said, and then post back. Double check everything too.
