Price Quote - 6 bolt swap

I was wondering how many mechanic hours it takes to to a complete 6 bolt swap. My mechanic gave me a quote of around 25 hours @ 50/hr. I also saw an ad saying that he could do it for 700 total. 600 is a big difference. Oh and by the way, my mechanic has done these swaps about 3 times already and I am unsure about the other guy. I also searched and found only a couple of prices, one at 600 and another at 5k, motor included. So, for those who hired somebody else to do the work, how much did you pay and also give the labor rate. Thanks.

i got mine done for 400$ but my 7 bolt was out i think 600 sounds good o wait he also rebuilt my bottom end

the price is usually $800, i found a good mechanic that's doing it for $450.
Be ready to spend $400+ on tune up parts for the engine.

I got the quote totalling to about 2300 I think for a rebuild, bs removal, machine work, and the swap. I would rather stay with this guy because the previous driver of this car worked with the same mechanic.
