I'm very particular when it comes to any kind of aftermarket kit because I like the 95-99 stock look a lot, except for the 97-99 ass dimples. I've been looking around for months to find some conservative pieces from various kits that I could put together for something I like. I want something different but close to stock. Nothing like those big mouth kits that look like some fish.

Previously people have pointed out that Buddy Club 2 and Rdora both seem to be pretty clean front ends. I also like the Evo. This is the first time I've seen the "TBC" body kit though. I like the front end as it seems like they based off the 97-99 front but molded something like a carbon fiber lip to the bottom. Check it out here and scroll down:

Thats the first one that looks close to stock to me with a lip. I may have to consider it.

I'm not a big fan of it. The holes are just odd on that thing. Tiny fog light holes on the bottom, and weird oval holes on the front of it just makes it look goofy to me.

god I love the r type front bumper cover , but would never buy it cause it is fiberglass. Wish it was urethane.

What's funny is that is exactly my complaint about the 97-99 OEM bumper. I don't like the tiny foglight housings.

I think that's why I like the TBC bumper. Looks like the 97-99 OEM bumper minus the fogs and adding a lip. I like the ovals.

that is kinda where i am stuck now. deciding what to get that looks clean. i thought about the octane r34, or maybe something with the drift front. but i dont like fiberglass...urethane is much more forgiving. the opening in the stock 99 front is kinda small for the greddy ic im going to put on, so i need somethin larger :/

Yea, that's the original buddy club kit (TBC...The Buddy Club)

I like it, it looks really close to a 97+ OEM front, only a few subtle changes.. like the oval holes, and the slight lip built into the bottom. I actually almost got one to put on my car, but i didn't want fiberglass so I put on a 97+ eclipse bumper cover.

I THINK THIS FRONT BUMPER HAS A LOT OF POTENTIAL , WITH MINOR MODIFICATION. lIKE THE CORNERS OF THE BOTTOM LIP THEY STICK OUT TO FAR AND NEED TO BE SHAVED. AND INSTEAD OF PUTTING LIGGHTS (damn caps) in the top holes i would leave the right one open and plumb my bov to there and the one on the driverside leave it open to cool the engine bay. My intercooler is like 32 inches out -out, so the stocker bumper ant cutting it. And all they others are ugly. with some exceptions.

Oh and that buddy club above would look better if the oval holes were patchup. IMo .I havenbt found a aftermarket bumper that i am satisfied with yet, that doesnt need some modification. But, the stocker 97-99 looks badass if you patch up the foglight holes. I have a pic but dont know how to post. I can email it to someone if you can post it here?
