Power to fixed antenna?

Unplug the wiring.
Take out few bolts that hold the electric one in place (would have to remove some interior anels to get to them).
Using a large flat screwdriver undo a round nut that holds the antenna to the outside of the car.
Now the power antenna will come out.
Attach the fixed antenna base to the car using that weird-looking nut and the large screwdriver.
Plug in the wire.
Test for water leaks.
Install antenna on the base.
Reinstall the interior panels.
Turn on the radio to see if antenna is working.
Done, simple as that.

^ I think he covered it.

But besides that, you can get an antennae to go inside the cabin of your vehicle somewhere, instead of the factory outside spot.

Also, there is another antennae built into the back windshield. There is a grey connector behind the stereo that goes to it; however, it is not as strong and it requires an adapter to be used.

Ok thanks for the help guys. I just bought a Spyder and the power antenna is all fudged up and I really just want to remove it and install a fixed one instead. This will help me for sure.
