Not getting any responses in my other thread. I've been looking online and at the stores for literally hours today for ONE SINGLE NUT that I need and can't find anything. I'm confused, angry and about to have a panic attack.

WHAT SIZE AND SPECS DO I NEED FOR THE NUT THAT GOES HERE!?

Tried and didn't fit: M10 x 1.50 and M12 x 1.75

Help, please!:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

M12 x 1.25, torque it to 14-21 Nm or 10-15 ft.lbs. There is a M12 spring washer that goes there as well.

Solution
Can you explain the second part of nut sizing. I get that M10 = 17mm and M12 = 18mm, but I thought the other number was the size of the inner diameter or something. The 1.50 was way way too small and the 1.75 was a little too small, so wouldn't the 1.25 be even smaller?

The first number is the bolt, or in this case the bolt hole, nominal diameter. That means the stud/bolt on the power steering pump is a 12mm diameter (nominal). The second number is the thread pitch or the distance along the shank between one position on a thread to the same position on an adjacent thread. For the number I gave, it is 1.25mm pitch.

I am figuring, since you tried the 1.75 thread, that it must be the 1.25 thread. It is most definitely a M12 nut and those are the only two pitches used on these cars for a M12 bolt/nut. But yes a 1.25 pitch would be closer together (smaller, if you'd like) than a 1.75 pitch.

God damn, I'm retarded! Thank you very much, I was stressing out all day!:banghead:
