Power Rack and Pinion Upgrade???

So I Just found out that my rack and pinion is going to go out soon. I was just wondering if there is any kind of upgrade for a 91 gsx auto w power steering. Thanks

Theres no real "upgrade" the only other option is to eliminate it in which you could use a power steering rack with the lines looped or capped, which I have or use a non power steering rack. Either one makes the car kinda beastly at lower speeds. I don't feel the weight savings is worth it, I did it for more aesthetic value. I really don't recomend it if you drive the car everyday.

A rack is a rack you need it. Don't get a new one get a rebuilt they are cheep.And it will work fine.

I just always try and upgrade when replacing parts and I do drive my car everyday. I did find rebult ones for about 230 with like 120 core exchange. Firestone wants 680 to replace it but not sure if its new or rebuilt. I only have 100800 miles so i think i have some time. Thanks
