I have a 95 talon tsi that tuned on e85 and 22psi, and its only making 235 to the wheels, guy that tuned it said he had no idea why it isn't making power, its getting everything need but no big power, no boost leak, compression is good, does anyone have any insight, or similar issues, it has a 6 bolt block in it as well, any help would be great, email.me at [email protected]

Thanks in advance,
Chris

i would say its not tuned on the e85 quite well, go to a dif tuner who is more experienced with e85. you should at least be at 300 hp with 22-25 psi . your setup should be able to go beyond that tho.

check your transfer case fluid. just check all your gear boxes. these differential losses can be crazy especially because in awd vehicles the torque path is turned 90 degrees as it enters the rear diff and exixts it towards the rear wheels. at 22-25psi if measured at the crank you would deffinetely be in the mid to high 300hp range. you can definitely lose 60-70hp due to differential losses.

Just checked your mod list. Is the FP 16g you're running the 68HTA? If so you should easily be at/over 300awhp. Did you get a look at what kind of timing you're running in the top end? It's fully possible the tune just isn't as on-point as it could be.

This is your first indication he doesnt know the software or the car. Stop using his services, do some research and find a more knowledgeable tuner.

He is a pretty reputable tuner in the Denver area, yes I do have the 68hta, he said that he resorted to messing with the timing a lot because he couldn't get it to make power any other way, he also said that with my setup he has never seen it not make power. The thing also only runs about 15's at bandimere
