That was my best 1/4 time, I have run an 8.891 at an 1/8 mile track but couldnt repeat that at the 1/4 when I went. UIC, DP and cat eliminator are going on tomorrow.

I'm in Union City. and No I haven't been to the track since then. That's was way back in the summer ;) I Haven't really done much to the car since, besides suspension.. and of course exterior..hopefully i'll head out to the track when dry season comes around. happy racing :thumb:

Well, I got a 95 GS with a Haun stage 2 kit and a built bottom end. I ran a best of [email protected] spinning one tire more than half way down the track. That was with 12psi, street tires, and 94 octane pump gas.....

This was one of the last runs of the season, so when I had one chance to try again, I bogged, missed 2nd (the synchro doesn't exist) and third and ran a 14.5 at 105 mph, but on the "best" run I spun the launch, and missed 3rd gear as you can tell in the 60',1/8th mile time, and thr speed of the 1/8th.

60' = 2.019
1/8th mile = 8.829@ 81.56 mph
1/4 mile = [email protected] mph :(

im diggin this one up.

90 gsx. 3" o2 eliminator turbo back, 190 fuel pump, old style afc, 20 psi, 114 octane gas. everything else is bone stock including the 14b.

13.2@101 @ 4200 ft elevation. 1.75 60 ft.

no offense guys but does anyone run with pump gas anymore? i refuse to run on race gas because i like to know what my car is running on the street everyday but thats just me, dont mean to offend anyone if i did. anyways heres my times:

I know on my motor with the high compression and huge trubo, I cant run pump gas anything above 21 lbs of boost, 91 octane just can not support it with my motor. Thats why we run race fuel, so we can run high boost levels. Pump gas can only do so much.

It just depends on what you are testing for. If you want to know how fast your car is on the street, then test it with that tune. I just feel that $7/gallon C-16 is acually cheep insurance for your engine at high boost pressures. Most short block failures stem from detonation.

o well where i live we have 93 and 94 octane as pump gas so i can kinda see why i guess. maybe i'll just throw some octane boosted in next time as insurance, i never thought of it like that. i run 22 psi every day too on 93 gas. but i have boost creep to like 24. check this out, when i went to track, i took my head light out for the 2nd run and it actually crept to 26 psi!!!! hahaha on a stock head gasket on stock internals. damn that was pushin it.

yeah my transmission is dead and im at like 0-1 degrees of timing. my car has some tuning issues (injectors being the main problem). on this run it took me 2 tries to get it into second and third. 4th went in but after a few seconds. thumbs down to dsm trannies that dont work :(
