Possible boost leak

I think i have a boost leak. I have a check engine light, my boost seems higher than it should be at certain rpm's. It reads half on the stock gauge when im only at like 1500 rpms also if i rev all the way up i dont get any boost. I dont feel like im going as fast as i should be going. How big of a leak would i need to have to experience this?

Why don't you do an actual boost leak test and find out? Just a little FYI, you usually don't get boost by just free reving the motor... unless you are reving the piss out of the thing.
