Hey everyone i was wondering if this is a boost leak or not: I was driving and i felt a huge loss of power in the middle of my boost and i could not accelerate at all but my trans shifts into gears after a long slow acceleration. After inspecting my car i noticed there was a nipple on the intake that had split, so i fixed it and the problem is still there and i inspected the car for a long time and i just can pin point another location so my ? is to you guys is, Do you think it is a boost leak and if so where is it most likely from, through your experience?

shouldnt you do the boost leak test first? and see if any of them are leaking before you go through all that trouble?

i did have a problem with my uicp at one time but i thought it was fixed, so you are saying that it is more then likly my uicp?

If you had some problems with it already, just check it again and you'll know.

We can't tell you how to fix it, you've have to run the test yourself and find the leaks, if thats even the problem. Do you not even build boost now? Here's a list of some places to check for boost leaks:
j pipe gasket
intercooler pipes/intercooler
bov gasket
throttle body gasket
biss screw o ring
intake manifold gasket
throttle body shaft seals
lower injector seals

Anybody else feel free to add to it.
