Well my car overheated and i found oil sprayed everywhere. I looked around, and finally got to the turbo. As i was taking piping out, oil was throughout the piping all the way up to my throttle body. Does this mean my turbo is bad? Or the seal in the turbo is bad. When i unbolted the turbo from the exhaust side, the gasket had a little tiny crack in it, but it didnt seem like anything was flowing through it. also, my water pump went bad at the same time. Could that have any effect on oil spray? My car is in pieces right now so any advice will help. Thanks,
Woody

the water pump has to do with the cooling system, it shouldn't have any affect on your oil system.. any oil in your coolant or vise versa?

did you check your turbo for shaft play? is there oil in your intake pipe? could be a blown turbo.. is it stock? how much mileage? did you beat on it? etc etc

well the turbo has no shaft play, the blades are chewed a little bit..... Yes there was oil all the way up through the intake pipe and throughout the intercooler piping.. the car is stock and has 140,000 miles. I got the turbo out, is there any way to check if its bad?

yep, the blades were chewed just the same and the exhuast side was fine, but there was a lot of carbon deposit all over.... but i guess that would be typical for a car with 140,000 miles.

130k miles on a 14b and the blades were NOT chewed up like that. I wouldn't call that typical wear at all. :| Exhaust housing cracks, manifold cracked etc.. but the fins all beat up like THAT no way.

Not sure if you were meaning the carbon build up was normal or what.. either way chewed up turbo is no good.
