so i think i f'd up a little. i ordered that pte 5558 with an undivided hot side. i wasnt thinking. can i still use that with my stock o2 housing and port the center section out? i dont see how it could hurt anything but want to be sure. im also porting the bottom out like all hell. it needs it to match up well with my new exhaust.

^^Actually it can, but yes you can port most of it out with hurting it too much since there is no divider on the exhaust housing. When i used to port i could get 60mm nearly all the way through from the turbo to the DP and a good 1.75" on the WG inlet side (inside of the stock turbo ring that sits in the turbo inlet). You can get it roughly to the size of an unported EVOIII O2.

Thanks. Just use a pair of tin snips if you have them. On the O2 youll need something a LOT more substantial than a Dremel, trust me on this, ive burnt out 2 Roto-Zips when i ported for a side job. best tool i used was a friends die grinder from Harbor Freight, will set you back about $60 +/-.

oh my bad, i meant a dremel cutting wheel to cut the middle of the gasket. no, ive got a heavy duty die grinder for porting. LOL, a dremel would take me a year to do
