Well in a nut shell Im rebuilding my motor now stock 6 bolt block stock polished crank oem mains ,, graveyard 1g rods fitting with Evo 9 pistons on top.. MLS head gasget arp studs stock head.. this is a DD no track use 93 pump I just want to know where is my HP Limit before liability becomes an issue .... ????
 
doing clutches will become more routine with more power. if you plot the independant variable as HP, and the dependant as clutch jobs, (or drivetrain, or other stuff that wears, brakes, rings anything wear related...) you will find that they are not quite linearly related. more like exponentially. ex. at 200 chp, you can expect a long healthy life with normal service intervals. add 100hp, stuff is gonna need changing probably a little sooner. add 100 more and your looking forward to major maintenence every 2 years or so. add 100 more , and your probably swapping clutches every year add another 500 hp on top of that and your changing parts every 1/4 mile. and thats where the limit ends up. The limit (of reliability/maintenance) as HP approaches infinity, is the quarter mile or slightly less. (the car will always make a 1/4 mile, they have tow trucks, and/or you can push... either way you car will find its way off the track)
 
LOL Yea i know what you mean .. I only running small 16G maybe 18 psi on link v3 lite.. I just want the car to last thats all
