I have a friend who can port and polish my Intake manifold and what not... I wasn't sure the bore size I should tell him or suggest to him. I dont know how thick the walls are, and how much they can take. If anyone can help me, please let me know...

also, any other "performance" tips for the 1.8 besides intake/exhaust. Does anyone sell a header for it?

Thanx,
~Drew

Porting your intake mani and polishing it will increase your air flow, but remember, with more air flow u need to push out more exh gases. But if you dont find a happy medium, u could have too much or too little backpressure causing u to either lose top or bottom end power. Nopi has an online e-catalog which sells some items including a header for the 1.8 I think. Check around with your local muffler shops, they would likely fab you one for a decent price. (About $110 is what they priced mine) (hope the mods have no problem with me putting that link out)www.DSM1Eights.com Check that site out.:thumb:

thanx man :) definatly going to check this stuff out :)
