i have a 2g n/t eclipse. I have a guy who can port and polish my intake manifold, tb, and cylinder heads real cheap. My question is how much size should i ask it to be? I mean before i fuk anything up.....Also can u p&p the cylinder heads?

My Guesses:
Intake Manifold-have no idea
TB-58mm??
Cylinder Heads-not sure if even possible

Thanks in advance, Oh i really need an answer quickly so i can do this now,

thanks Mike

Has he done MANY n/t DSMs before? Does he use a flow bench? Or is he just a metal carver.

He may be real cheap for the wrong reasons.

Polishing is fine, porting can be a disaster in the wrong hands.

i will find out, thanks for that info

What size should it be ported to tho?

go to the junk yard and find a 91-94 nonturbo eclipse with the 2 vacuume nozzle they were factory 60 mm and bolt right up to your intake manifold the intake manifold can be ported and polished no size required the heads can be done also no size required but in the wrong hands can make the car run choppy and if so it's not repairable

Is this really hard to do yourself? my auto teacher said he has the tools to do it, and said i could do it in the shop. does anyone know what tools are needed(just to make sure he has everything), how to do it, and how hard it is to do???
thanks!
