For 1/8 or 3/16 Speedglass for the windshield, is it an ABSOLUTE MUST for it to have reinforment bracing in the middle for it not to collapse or push in? I'm just wondering of the factory form of the windshield is enough to withstand the force of say 140-150mph. Beyond that I would say it's a must for sure anyway but just would like some opinions of anything below those speeds? TIA!:hellyeah:

i work at Douglas Autoworks. We have a Nascar monti carlo windshield in our evo. no center support and the car has alrealy seen 150+ with no problems. cant tell you how thick it is off the top of my head, but atleast you have some info.

Is it legal to have the polycarbonate glass in your car on the street? Whether its for the windshield, hatch ,or door glass?
