The title doesn't fit the section, but my question does.

I have gutted a good amount of my car. The only thing that is left to gut is the heater. I know that the heater is used to defrost.

I am worried that when i'm running this car at an event, the windows may fog up.

For you guys with dsms with no heat, how are you defrosting your windows? I've had my windows frost in the summer and the winter. And for a car that will be driven to the track, how are you guys dealing with defrosting your windows?

Thanks,

Ben

I didn't fully think the defrosting through before gutting some of the necessary components - I commend you for asking first. :thumb:

Basically I drop the windows to combat defrosting. Luckily I've only raced warmer-weather events so I haven't had to do this at the track (as obviously I wouldn't be allowed to keep the windows down). My future plan is to wire in a couple of small computer-size fans to blow strategically up through the dash and put them on a switch.

how does the rainx anti fog work?

I remember when i use to take the bus to school that the bus's had a fan on the front window.

I guess i could just have a fan in the car and hook it up when it gets frosty?

This car is a dedicated street terror/track car and i would hate going being in the staging lanes with a fogged up front windshield
