I bought the front and rear Energy Suspension control arm bushing sets for my VR4, same as 1g. long story short I wanted it done soon and I took it to my mechanic that I trust with work when I have no time to do things on my own. So He calls me today to tell me that one of the front sets of bushing and the rear Whiteline camber bushings don't fit. I just didn't get why. He sent me a few cell phone pictures and after searching some it appears that he pushed out the sleeve along with the bushing that apparently needs to be left in.

So does it appear that that is the true issue? Does anyone sell those individually or do I need to buy new control arms just for the sleeves. I sure hope not. :(

Metal on these DSM's rust allot. Try to sand it down a little bit and make shure you use some type of spray on lubricant on it to aid the installation. Personally I use white lithium grease spray. that sleeve should slide right back in place. The rear bushing are a bit of a trick as some sets I have dealt with came in the wrong sizes and depth's. As for the front. Its a tight tit but it will work perfect.

Pictures would also be very nice if possible.

The pics do not work. But as I recall energy bushings require you to leave in the sleeves and you can not buy them. You are going to have to locate control arms.

Alright, I talked to him today and it appears he only messed one up. He did the other one like I told him to and it worked. He will be taking the messed up one to a machine shop to see if they can
make one
