Polishing guides?

I'm looking for a guide for polishing alluminum, also a guide for polishing turbos.

I know polishing turbos can be hard, but thanks inadvance.

NP glad to help also if your polishing aluminum IC pipes or Stainless steel, I recommend Mequires mag and aluminum polish for light jobs. It works wonders!

right now i'm doing a tial bov that has lost its shine.

From what i'm reading it seems a dremel is only needed for tight spots, so hand polishing works fine? What cloths do you normally like to use?

Looking for some help, i'm buying some stuff from harbor fright online atm and i see they have all kinds of different polishing componds.

They all say to use with loose-leaf buff, which i'm unsure of the meaning of that.

I plan on buying some blue polishing compond for my cf hood that i'm redoing, i plan on using a buffer, then a finishing cloth. would this compound work for me?

Also was thinking of getting the white compound for my alluminum stuff, but i'm not sure exactly what to do.

Also i'm looking for a wool polishing cloth, they don't have them on harborfrieght apperently, anyone know where?

I'm having a hard time figuring all this stuff out.

So, i see theres about 5 different componds out there, basicly like sand paper it goes by grit, not all componds really say what grit they are but tell you what kind of application to use it for so you can figure it out. It also seems like there not all suppose to be use'd with a buffer.

Basicly i plan on doing my cf hood this week and i plan on buffing the compound. Can someone help me understand this stuff better?
