please helpi did the 6 bolt swap and something is not right

i have a 95 awd talon i put a 91 6bolt engine in it and now the air fule gage will drop all the way to lean and the car feels like its only hiting on two plugs (it mostly dose this on the open road hardy ever in town) if i hold the clutch in and let the rpm gage drop to idle and then let out on the clutch if starts to run fine sometimesit gose 3-4 miles befor it dose it again and sometimes it starts to do it sooner (sorry for my typing)

have you checkd your plugs, injectors, plug wires.. vac lines all hookd up right?

did it just start doing it.. or was it your first trip out?
 
yes it did it the first time out on the open road it has new plugs & wires the hoses could be wrong could it be a boost leak it seems to studder alittle as it boost up some times and sometimes it feels like its holding back instead of pulling

yea i qould double check everything and then check over the ignitor and coilpacks. from what i saw of your description it sounds like random misfires.....dsmlink is a sure way of bypassing that if it is the problem.
 
well the prev. owner of my car.. ran into the kinda prob your having... he would going down the road.. and 1 or 2 of the coil packs would pop off and the car would instently run like shit... as in it lost 1 or 2 cylinders.. so yes like 91talon said.. check that also. make sure there staying on.
 
i pulled over once wile it was cuting out and pulled the plug wires off wile the car was runing to see if they all was firing and it seem like 2 of them was not firing .... if it is not sending fire to a couple of plugs would that make the air fuel gage drop to lean ( i thought it would make it rich)
thanks for any help im at the point off selling the car if i cant get it fixed
 
He shouldn't have to swap the order, that comes into play when swaping a 95 ecu into a 97-99 car.
 
Check your CAS wiring. We ran into this with my 6-bolt swap, it turns out our CAS harness that we fabbed up wasn't wired correctly.
 
We didn't short anything out when it was wrong, so I would doubt it. Btw, we were only getting spark on 2 cylinders with it wired wrong.
 
i used the road race engineering methed to wire up the cas but on there drawing it shows a yellow wire on the cas plug my plug dont have a yellow wire it has a white wire a red wire and 2 black wires also i tryed to do a boost leak test today and at 5 pounds of pressure air started to come out of my 1g bov recirulating tube so i changed the bov havent had time to try to retest it yet but it still runs and drives the same
