6 bolt swap HELP please

in the middle of putting a 6 bolt into my 98 gst.... everything is pretty much in and together only problem i am having is the car is throwing up a p1400 code which is something with the mdp sensor, the one i have is brand new and i have it teed off the brake vaccum line.... woudl it be better to drill out the intake and stick it in there bc i have a 1g intake on the car, other problem im having is the 1g intake mani didnt have a spot for egr and im also throwing a code for that anything you know will help tryna get this bi*** threw inspection n on roaddddddd

I'm guessing you got an RVR or Evo engine, since the lack of EGR flange?

if u can tell by what it says on the mani it says eci multi than turbo with intercooler under it.... on the valve cover it says mitsubishi dohc 16 valve

Well, that's not an RVR/Evo intake manifold.

Can you take some pictures showing that there's no EGR port on the runner?

I'm guessing you need emissions which is why you're trying to get this setup? If so and you have no EGR port, you'll probably need to get a different intake manifold.

All depends on the state. In PA, if you drive less than 5k miles, then you can get an emissions exempt sticker.

Or you can always try and find a shop that'll "look over" it.

When i had a MDP sensor i had it hooked up from the vac line,that goes from TB. and the sensor was laying on the intake manifold.. Had no codes...... Try to reconnect it,and disconnect the battery for couple of minutes.... it might help to get rid off the CEL

yea im in new york and obd2 cars gota get pluged in so you cant really look it over i own a shop so unfortunatly that wont work, and the mdp ive done that about a thousand times i disconnect the battery everynight.... what i really need is a 95 shell

I have a standard 1g intake manifold I can trade you for whatever intake mani you have without the egr port.

Well i need to keep the cel light off... The egr is only one of my problems the car has no cats no pollution im thinking of just finding a 95 shell to make my life a whole lot easier
