Ok so I bought new headlights, my previous headlights had HIDs so I thought it would be east to install, I removed my original headlamps and unplugged everything. The halo power and ground was spliced into the side marker light which I repeated with the new headlights and worked fine. My highbeam plug on the new headlights didnt match my cars highbeam female plug, I also noticed on the original headlights I had; there was two extra places to put a ground and power for the HID bulb, and on the new headlights there weren't. So I did some inspecting and it looked like the highbeam plug on my original headlights had 2 extra wires running from it (a ground and power for my HIDS's), So therefore I removed this highbeam plug from original headlamp and put into new headlamp removing the original headlamps higmbeam plug. I plugged the new wire into my car and my highbemas worked great. Now all that was left was these two extra plugs ground and power for my HID, wired the power together turned my lights on and touched the ground and my HID's went on!!!! Now after all this everything seemed fine. So I started taping everything up putting everything in the right place and when I had everything taped up, I touched the grounds again and my HID's wouldnt turn on???? maybe I blew the ballast some how? So I went to the other headlight reapeated the process and the HID wouldnt turn on??? Im confused and I hope this is all wired right because I odered new ballast and HIDS, hoping the ballasasts are bad.
Again heres my setup
1. Highbeam Plug to car plug
2. Two extra wires coming from highbeam wire (white wire), wire these to power and ground of HID.
